ORDER BY CHAOS will provide the soundtrack to your awakening. Formed in Jacksonville, FL, Order By Chaos set out to destroy all musical prejudice. Whether it be the more docile and melodic "Water", the uncompromising harshness of "Face Down" or the paramount song structuring of "Reason", Order By Chaos encompasses an endless stream of emotions. Every song is a reflection of reality; at times angry, sometimes sophisticated, often melodic and always exciting. Each note played and each word sung is infused with spirit, heart, intensity and most importantly, passion. Order By Chaos has most recently tracked 4 new songs which were recorded at Studio One in Racine, WI. The demo was produced by Shaun Glass of Soil and engineered by Chris Djuricic who has worked with numerous national artists. OBC's past recordings include a "A Dynasty Is Born" (5000+ copies sold) and the recently released "The Evolution EP" with over 2500 copies sold to date. Order By Chaos' songs have appeared on various compilations such as Clear Channel Communications "Native Noise 1" and "Native Noise 3". OBC is also one of the featured artists on the first annual Florida Music Festival (Southeast version of SXSW) compilation which is produced by Axis Magazine in association with Jeff Hanson Management (Creed, Sevendust). Axis compilations are distributed by Virgin. Each of the compilations mentioned sold approximately 5000 copies apiece. 
Within North/Central Florida Order By Chaos dominates the market for unsigned artists. Various songs have been in rotation on a number of radio stations including WPLA (Jacksonville, FL) WJRR (Orlando, FL) and WYYX (Panama City, FL). Known for their energetic and entertaining live shows, Order By Chaos has been able to maintain a steady and loyal fan base throughout the Southeast. They have headlined many North Florida festivals and various clubs throughout the region. During this time, OBC has performed along side over 30 national acts. As a band, Order By Chaos has been able to achieve some major accomplishments, particularly on the internet. On mp3.com, OBC had over 36,000 downloads in the first few months. There has consistently been 4 songs within the top 10 slots on mp3.com's metal charts. Repeatedly, Order By Chaos has been band of the month or has had their CD selected as the featured release on numerous web sites. One site (www.Nosebleed17.com) has a poll which boasts Order By Chaos #1 "Best Unsigned Band of 2001", #2 "Most Likely To Be signed in 2002" and voted #10 "Best Live Act" in which the other 9 were national multi -platinum and gold artists (including Slipknot, Slayer, System Of A Down and Mudvayne). Additionally, there have been over 2000 kids worldwide who have signed up to become part of the Order By Chaos street team. |
