If you haven’t heard Boy Hits Car yet then you are missing out. These guys are blowing up. With a new Wind-Up Record release coming out in January, there is no limit for this Northern California based four piece. Recorded in Canada with producer GGGarth and being mixed by Toby Wright @ Record Plant Studios in Hollywood, Boy Hits Car debut album, if anything like the sampler CD that is floating around, will be absolutely sick.
Boy Hits Car picks up where early aggro/alternative music left off… They have all the elements that make up an ass kickin’ metal band, and with CRegg’s melodically rich and dynamic vocals, the music reaches energy levels that many of today’s aggressive bands lack.
Boy Hits Car music goes way beyond the 4/4 aggro riffage that we have become so used to… "I’m A Cloud" gets you hooked right off. The gentle opening demands the listener to pay attention then delivers the phattest verse and hook.
My favorite is "As I Watch the Sun Fuck the Ocean". If you are a Zeppelin fan, then you will dig this piece. How sick is that. An aggressive metal band with sitar based guitar lines running along the freshest, hardest beats and rhythms…If you are a musician, then you have to appreciate them, if you just love great, dynamic music that kicks your ass, then Boy Hits Car is for you.
