Pitbull Daycare has taken industrial music to the newest and highest level in 2000 by mixing sounds of electronica, punk, and metal into a huge blender of in-your-face aggression. Not only is their sound completely different but their live show carries so much energy it will imprint your mind forever. (Not to mention caged dancers, women blowing fire, pyrotechnics, and Alien-Dancer boy)

Pitbull Daycare formed in 1995, when Riot's (New York metal outfit) deal with Sony folded and bass player Donnie Van Stavern left the band and headed home to San Antonio, TX to create something new. There he ran into guitarist and programmer T.C. Connally who has a bachelor's degree in electro/acoustic music from the University of Texas at San Antonio. The duo went to work in a studio.

Still without a singer, the duo sought out other members and finally found what they were looking for in Stephen Bishop. At that time, Bishop was singing in a funk band "Funkenstein" to pass the time. They were told that he was a singer so they passed their demo tapes to him and told him he was free to do anything lyrically that he wanted. He blew them away and got the job! At that time, Pitbull still had no drummer but T.C. and Donnie teamed up and programmed the drum tracks.

The band soon had a following, which created a buzz in the local scene. Bishop was the perfect fit for the band and the right ingredient that they were looking for.

After months of playing and a meeting backstage at Ozzfest 98, the band was signed to M.I.A. records and released 10,000 albums of "SixSixSex." (over 9,800 sold and counting) It featured songs like "VoicesIn my head", "If", and "Slut" that release the power and emotion in Pitbull.

The band toured extensively for three years going coast to coast in the U.S. and even played in Canada opening for such acts as King Diamond, Lords of Acid, Electric Hellfire Club, The Genitorturers, and N-17. They also had a slot on Metallica's Lollapalooza. There are even a couple of big name bands now that have opened for Pitbull Daycare in the past. Some of these include Static-X, Cold, and Godhead.

Pitbull Daycare has established following in Europe, South America, and Japan with several press and radio shows under their belt even though they have never toured outside the U.S. Their fan club has over 1,500 members and a street team that is over 180 members across the U.S.

Pitbull Daycare has been featured in many magazines including Hit Parader, Hard Force, The Edge, Bite Me, and have had many reviews about "SixSixSex." One person said, "Pulling together the sound of the 90's electronica a la "Prodigy" with the hard aggressive beats of "Ministry" and sampling styles of "Nine Inch Nails". This is a great album that can be enjoyed by techno freaks, goths, and metal heads alike."

However, after many years on the road and a growing fan base, M.I.A. records folded in the summer of 2000. According to Pitbull, "We celebrated when M.I.A. fell apart." The band wanted out. Now Pitbull is free and clear of their previous label and own the rights to their freshman release "SixSixSex" which can be re-released, or the material can be used for the new album.

Currently, the band has been busy writing new material and has over 15 new songs. Six of those songs have made it to a special EP such as "White Trash Friends", "Serial Killer", "My Own Man" , and an obscure remake of Falco's "Der Kommissar." The band plans on holding showcases in the near future.
